Filipinos now Eligible for Visa-On-Arrival for travel to UAE
NEW UAE VISA-ON-ARRIVAL RULES FOR FILIPINOS Starting June 25, 2026, Filipino citizens traveling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be eligible for a visa-on-arrival, provided they hold a valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card from any of the following countries: USA | EU Member States | Australia | Japan | Singapore | South Korea | Canada | New Zealand

The Department of Foreign Affairs informs the public that effective 25 June 2026, Filipino citizens traveling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) using their Philippine passports and possessing a valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card issued by any of the following countries:
USA | EU Member States | Australia | Japan | Singapore | South Korea | Canada | New Zealand, shall be eligible for the grant of a visa-on-arrival by the UAE.
According to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), eligible travelers can choose between two entry options upon arrival:
-- 14-Day Stay: Costs AED 100 (Can be extended once for another 14 days for AED 250)
-- 60-Day Stay: Costs AED 250 (Non-extendable)
The DFA noted that this new privilege highlights the strengthening bilateral relations between the Philippines and the UAE.
